We meet again at the
next Master Chef blog as usual before we start my Activity today, let us say a
prayer to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala because for the blessing and His mercy we
are still given health in carrying out the practice, and still given health to
meet with lecturers and seniors. Here I will explain and retell the stories
that happened today, okay let's go.
Just like yesterday I
also arrived at campus at 6 o'clock. This time I was almost late to wake up
because I did not hear the alarm that I set. I rushed to have breakfast then
left until I forgot to take a shower but fortunately there is always perfume
that made me always at all times. Arriving on campus or at the kitchen, I
immediately prepared hot water in stockport, which will be useful later. When
there is a sudden need of hot water to make something we don't need to heat the
water anymore.
Today we will make
two rotations at the same time because tomorrow is the day when students can
take a break from the morning until the next day. Because when I saw the
calendar, the date was red and it means holiday. Because we had made
preparations from yesterday, which is Tang Yuan, we started making new
preparations again. Today we will make Thai beef salad, which the cooking
process takes a long time.
Today I will explain
how to make Thai beef salad. As always, the first thing we have to do is
prepare the ingredients. Take sirloin then prepare Thai Chili Pepper, garlic,
sugar, Thai fish, lime juice, lettuce, fresh mint, small cucumber, shallot, and
cilantro oil. Next, we will begin the first cooking process. Because we
couldn’t find the sirloin, we used tenderloin. Cut the tenderloin into a box
shape. After that marinate the meat and vacuum it. Boil meat and painser like
saute until it’s cooked medium rare, then cool it.
Prepare the marinade
ingredients such as garlic, cucumber, small red chili, mint leaves, lime, red
onion, fish sauce, sugar and lettuce. Then for the sauce, prepare the Thai beef
sauce and then add the lime juice. After that add garlic, granulated sugar, and
add the small red chilies into the bowl and stir until evenly distributed.
After the meat has cooled, thinly slice 2 inches of meat and cut it again into
1.8 inches. Add the meat into a large bowl and add the sauce mixed in the bowl
filled with meat, then add the sliced cucumber and stir evenly. For the
dressing cilantro oil can be mashed or mix it in a blender. I used on a mortar
and added some oil on it. Then beat it again until it became smooth and mixed
it with oil and stirred evenly, prepare the meat that has been mixed with the
sauce on a plate then pour the dressing on top, then serve it.
After completing the
practice today, we prepared to do GC, but before that we are gathered to be
divided according to the sections that have been set. We did GC quickly,
because we knew that we were very tired because we made 2 rotations at once.
Even so there is feeling of happiness because what we are doing can be seen as
pretty good. After doing GC, we gathered to pray and prepared to go home.
