Okay we meet again on
our blog The Next Master Chef. It's been a long time since we met. I am very
grateful that we can meet again where I will start again in telling what I have
done today but first I want to remind my friends not to forget to read because
by reading we can expand knowledge, we can also answer what is given or asked
by the lecturer and senior. Do not forget too and this is what we must
remember, namely thanking God, because thanks to His mercy, we can still be
reunited in this great blog. Today I will practice rotations 2.1 to 2.4. I will
make Tang Yuan. This dish comes from China from its own name. We will discuss
it below.
As usual in this
morning we were ordered to come quickly because the practice we are doing today
will also be served at the restaurant. Therefore, we must quickly know the
outcome of the practices we will do. We were divided into groups according to
the group there were number 1, 2, 3, and 4. My own group would practice how to
make tangyuan. At first, we must know the origin of Tang Yuan. This dish, like
what I said, came from China. It was eaten at times when we were hungry,
because if we were not hungry, we would not eat it. My group will make Tang
Yuan but I will try to make more bread which I don't think has been made well,
namely French bread. Anyway, I will explain to you all how to make Tang Yuan.
First, we prepare the
ingredients, namely black sesame flour, sugar and melted butter. As for the Tang
Yuan, prepare rice flour and warm water. Okay, let's continue with the cooking
process. Bake the black sesame and then turn it until it becomes a kind of
powder, the smaller the particles, the faster it will become a filling. You
could buy this also at the nearest stores. Second, mix black sesame flour with
melted butter until it becomes a dough. Then continue by mixing rice flour and
warm water into a dough. Wrap a few minutes so that it becomes softer, then make
the center part into a longer one so you can make the small pieces from it.
Then after making small pieces, you can round the pieces together and slowly
take the filling in the bowl then fill it into the dough that was made.
The next process
after the black sesame flour dough with sugar and a little butter is filled
with the filling, you can separate it into several doughs so we can give
variable colors to it. The goal is to beautify the dish when it served on the
plate after that. After filling and coloring the dough, we boil the dough with
boiling water so that the dough is cooked. Remember, don't forget, after the
dough is cooked, you have to give cold water if you don't eat it right away.
After our group made Tang Yuan, we saw the other groups what they made
according to their task, while I was still made the French bread. Indeed,
making French bread takes quite a long time because in making bread requires
high patience.
After all the groups
have prepared all the ingredients and the dough that will be made or served
tomorrow, we began to divide the tasks to do the GC. We do GC according to the
group we have divided. Some should brush the floor, some should wash the table,
some should wipe the windows. We worked according to each group and we must be
quick to clean because if we are slow we will go home late. After cleaning all
the items that we have used in practice, we began to line up to make
preparations to go home. After praying, we returned to our homes.
